Directs and leads the HSS&E agenda for supply chain operations across the Americas Region
Responsible for seven plants (not including warehouses).

Has no direct P&L responsibility, but will have input into budgeting.

International experience is a plus.

Biotechnology company developing novel, proprietary vaccines. The company’s breakthrough vaccines are based on its Toll-like receptor (TLR) technology platform, which dramatically improves vaccine immunogenicity and efficacy.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a candidate who can lead a project focused on the discovery of novel TLR agonists. The individual will be responsible for selection and affinity maturation of novel peptide/protein ligands using phage display and protein evolution technologies. This will include developing selection strategies, executing screens, analyzing hit sequence results, cloning and expressing the selected candidates.

Other responsibilities include construction of affinity maturation libraries as well as development and running screening assays.

The individual should be creative and have an established record of independent research accomplishments in recombinant protein engineering.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Virology or related field.

Intimate knowledge of cutting-edge molecular biology and bioinformatics tools and strategies for protein evolution.

Experience using phage display in a screening program is highly desired.

Experience in mammalian cell culture, cell-based and biochemical assay development, automation and screening is an advantage.

A track record of patent applications and peer-reviewed publications.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000

Research Associate, Immunology - Central NJ

Job Description:

The candidate for this small Biotech / Pharmaceutical company will initially help develop a real-time PCR assay for in vitro viral neutralization.

The candidate will then apply the assay to evaluate animal and human sera generated against vaccine candidates.

Work will be done under Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) conditions and involves cell culture, assay set-up, RNA extraction, real-time PCR and ELISAs.

After initial training, the candidate will be required to analyze data and prepare summaries or reports independently.

Hybridoma culture and small-scale antibody purification will be done occasionally.

Requirements:

A broad technical background in molecular biology and immunology would be advantageous. Some biochemistry experience preferred.

FACS and animal work experience a plus.

Ability to follow directions and complete experiments in a timely manner, adherence to established protocols with emphasis on quality and data integrity, good documentation skills and in general, a rigorous adherence to the scientific method is sought.

Masters degree with at least two years of work experience or more.

What do we expect?
The ideal candidate should have a solid accounting background with great exposure to General Accounting Principals, Monthly Reporting, Account Reconciliation, and leadership to improve developing areas and increase efficiencies. The Accounting Manager reports to the CFO in The Netherlands.

Month-end closing, MIS set-up, identifying process improvement opportunities, review balance sheet reconciliations, adhoc analysis and reporting as required, contribute to annual budget (actual vs. forecast), approve project budgets and commission calculations, cash flow forecast and management of all General Ledger Accounts are also part of your responsibilities.

Project Engineer

The successful candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, reliable, and has exceptional organizational and engineering skills. A BS in Engineering required with 3 years engineering experience preferably 5, preferably in municipal market. Candidate must have demonstrated capability to engineer and manage capital projects from inception to completion in a cost effective and efficient manner. The Project Engineer’s responsibilities include:

Project execution from the purchase order acceptance phase to final completion of the performance test and equipment acceptance by the Owner.

Preparation of a submittals package, consisting of diagrams, general arrangement drawings, bill of materials, specification sheets and process/instrumentation diagrams.

Troubleshooting support for field service engineers.

Working in a project team with mechanical, electrical and process engineers.

Interfacing with Contractors, Engineers and Bioway’s sales staff on project management related issues.

Requirements include:
Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field.
Project Engineering experience. Accountable to project deadlines.
Experience in AutoCAD and/or Solid Edge or Solid Modeling.
Proficient on Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Project.
Being a self-starter, reliable, punctual, organized and well-presented.
