Senior Marketing Manager, Fashion - Cranston, RI

Job Description:

A prestigious and renowned fashion company with offices across the world is in need of a seasoned and talented Senior Marketing Manager to work out of their Rhode Island branch. We are looking for someone with can handle full workloads, high expectations and a fast-paced environment.

In your senior role, you will manage 2-3 employees and be responsible for the following:
- Handle product management and marketing activities
- Identify all fashion related products and sales objectives for the year, by channel and develop a comprehensive marketing plan to achieve goals
- Perform ongoing monitoring and evaluation of product performances by category, price point, channel and assortment and make necessary adjustments to maximize sales turnover, sku efficiency and profitability
- Implement and coordinate marketing programs for the introduction of new products and promotions, which include sell-in materials, marketing support collateral, events, promotions and visual merchandising programs

- Work closely with Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams to define fashion role in all retail consumer hot spots and to ensure proper merchandising of all fashion products and programs
- Communicate new fashion products, promotions and events activity plans including timing and support materials to key support groups and inform these activities through internal and external newsletters
- Supervise and provide management support while ensuring efficient work flow, role clarity and timely delivery of all programs and activity
- Handle the product and program results tracking & accountability
- Maintain collaborative work relationships with key internal and external matrix partners
- Ensure timely delivery of marketing activity to support sales and business objectives
- Handle coordination across 200 retail shops, 1100 independent retail and national accounts

Qualifications:

- Ability to apply product and event performance data to support business sales

The successful candidate will perform bioinformatic protein structural analysis, perform gene cloning, affinity tag-based enzyme purification and functional characterization. The experience of fluorescence-based enzyme kinetic measurement is highly preferred. The successful applicant must work within an integrated multidisciplinary laboratory and be able to work with other scientists, technicians and students in the team. In addition, the technician will be expected to interact and work effectively with a demanding, fast-paced biotech startup environment.

Required Skills:
