Job Description:
We have a client looking for an Engineering Manager / Quality Manager with a solid knowledge of precision machining with CNC and Screw machines in a job shop environment. This position will be responsible for all Quality issues and procedures as well as managing the Engineering and Quality departments. You must have knowledge of machining processes, layouts, tooling design, cycle times, speeds and feeds, job estimating, APQP, SPC, ISO-9000, CMM programming, TQM, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing procedures, troubleshooting, and be able to make continuous improvements to reduce defects and scrap. You will act as the liaison between the Plant and Customer. Prior Supervision and a BS in Engineering or equivalent experience is desired. Position will be promotable to Plant Operations Manager.
