Are you a classic CPG marketer? Are you currently a marketing assistant, assistant brand manager, or product manager for a CPG brand? Or do you have creative or agency experience with CPG brands and an understanding of new product development and consumers? Three years of experience? Ready for a visible role in developing new products for well-known global brands?
Cincinnati-based marketer of beauty care products seeks Innovation Managers to develop new products for existing hair care brands. Two positions available. Dynamic, growing company enjoys world-wide success with popular brands. New, very visible position within company. Report to VP, Global Hair Care. 10+ marketing staff for hair care products. Qualifications:
• B.A. in marketing or related field required, MBA preferred.
• Prior marketing experience with a global brand, including 3+ years of progressively responsible brand management experience.
• Hair care or beauty experience is strongly preferred.
• Must have some exposure to new product development process and experience with global brands. Innovation experience, not re-launch of existing products or line extensions, ideal.
• Experience with financials, managing a budget and P&L growth.
• Demonstrated ability to see the “big picture,” be creative and work at a strategic level.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent interpersonal/collaboration/relationship building skills.
• Results-driven.
• Creative, innovative, entrepreneurial professional with fresh ideas.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the VP Strategy & Innovation to identify and develop new products for existing brands. Get products to market in 1-2 years or less, with initial focus on 2010 launches. Oversee whole marketing process and P&L for brand. This includes new concepts & product development, global marketplace analysis, gathering input and feedback from key geographies, business case development, global volumetric forecasting, budget management, pricing and sales analysis for a specific brand.
