LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) Developer - Stanton, CA

Job Description:
Orange County, CA company is looking for a full time LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) developer. You will be working on a large variety of projects. One month you may be setting up 10 small websites, while the next three months could be on a single large project.
Our current environment is both LAMP and ASP.NET. So it would be nice if you were at least familiar with ASP.NET, but not required. This position will require you to think outside the box: hacking current tools, building our own, and deciding the right tool for the job.
Responsibilities Include:
* Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of the different websites and web-based applications used by the company and its customers
* Assisting with the design, planning and development of new applications.
Required Skills:
* 1-3 years of experience developing medium to large-scale web applications including at least 1 year on the LAMP platform.
* Familiarity with object-oriented programming theory and practice.
* Willing and able to learn quickly
* Experienced with CSS/HTML/Javascript
* Experience configuring and maintaining Apache, PHP, MySQL
Desired skills:
* Strong working knowledge of relational databases, SQL and basic database optimization concepts
* Experience writing shared and reusable components of code
* Experience designing and tuning applications that can scale
* Use of source control
* Familiar with Wordpress and writing Wordpress plugins
* Familiar with ASP.NET
* XML, AJAX
* Perl
