WEB DEVELOPER / WEBMASTER

Through regional Sales operations, knowledgeable and experienced field representatives, personal project management, and a successful proven business model, this company is prepared to expand operations. MyContractor.com is currently seeking an experienced Web and Application Developer to develop and manage the corporate website, and other supported applications.

Description:
The Web Developer / Webmaster individual will be responsible for the development, deployment, administration and management of all websites and web-based applications, web graphics, content, and domains. This includes any related tasks such as supporting site technologies, search engine optimization, report creation, and domain acquisition and maintenance. Development must be professional in its appearance and function, targeted to and facilitate company business needs, and dynamic for users’ interaction. This individual will be both skilled in coding sites and databases, as well as creative / marketing design and content; we are looking for the one who can do it all!

Responsibilities:
- Develop Websites and Databases; Create site Graphics and Content
-Deploy and Manage Websites, Domains and Databases
-Develop Reports for Websites and Applications
-Implement and Manage a Software Development Lifecycle (“SDLC”) process
-Manage Web and Application Projects (all stages of the SDLC)
-Search Engine Optimization and Keyword Development
-Serve as Primary Contact for Web issues & improvements; troubleshoot and resolve issues

Requirements:
-Strong Enterprise Web Sites and Applications Design & Development (work examples required)
-Strong Database Development and Administration (MS SQL Server, MySQL)
-Strong Creative Skills in Graphics, Video, Audio, Content and Layout (work examples required)
-Strong Technical knowledge of Windows Server / Workstation, and/or Linux
-Experience in one or more: ASP, ASP.NET, VB, COM, COM+, MTS, VBA, HTML, DHTML, PHP, XML, CSS, SOAP, JavaScript and Macromedia Flash
-Knowledge of Project Management and MS Project application
-Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills
-Strong Work Ethic, Well-Organized and ability to self-manage and meet deadlines
-Ability to present before executive management

Additional:
-Experience in Marketing, Consumer Goods, or direct retail to customers
-Knowledge of financial justification of Web Projects through Cost / Benefit / ROI Analysis
-Knowledge of Customer Support or Call Center operations
