Job Description:

Responsibility:
Organize and stock clothing room with donations
Sort and distribute clothes
Monitor and coordinate volunteers working in the clothes closet
Train volunteers regarding clothes distribution, sorting & stocking
General cleaning of facility: client waiting area, client showers and
Bathrooms, and clothing room
Monitor and over see delivery of donations
Assist with stocking of storage areas (food, cleaning/household/hygiene supplies, etc.)
Assist with picking up Food Bank groceries and other donations
Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and retreats as scheduled.

Qualifications/Requirements:
High School/GED degree
Minimum of one (1) year demonstrated experience in food handling
Ability to act in professional manner regardless of circumstances
Commitment to improving the community through empowerment and dignity
Familiar with non-violent crisis intervention
Familiarity with issues faced by population served
Ability to self-motivate, and appropriately organize and motivate others
Ability to organize time and responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner
Computer literate; able to use computerized database system for information management
Ability to lift 25lbs.
Must have a valid Drivers License
Ability to work as a team member.
