Job Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Seeking an experienced Software Developer with emphasis in Oracle Database Procedure Development and application schema management. Position requires mid level experience in PL/SQL development with a minimum of four years experience in designing, developing and maintaining Oracle applications and databases. Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Develop tables, view, stored procedures that interface with a Cold Fusion web application.
* Maintain and update Oracle schema and documentation to support continued maintenance of the Oracle schema.
* Design and implement the database schema and access control to the database.
* Design and develop standard database reports using Crystal Reports or other reporting tool.
* Coordinates and manages data definitions; maintaining control over records, tables and columns, objects and the other database characteristics.
* Assists in the control of the utilization of test and production databases and ensuring data integrity is maintained during new releases of both applications software and the underlying DBMS; producing ERDs.
* Provides expertise for solving data related table issues.
* Performs routine preventive maintenance on Oracle applications.
* Interfaces with a Cold Fusion MX7 development team.
MANDATORY SKILLS:
* Four years experience with PL/SQL in an Oracle Database and Applications Unix and Windows environment.
• Candidate must possess good communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work within an integrated team environment
• Previous experience with Oracle
• 2+ years of experience with physical database design and programming considerations, including data layout, normalization, key definition, and performance tuning
Desired SKILLS:
* Knowledge of resource planning and/or accounting type data
* Familiarity with full software lifecycle development including project reviews.
* Effective planning and organizations skills.
* Experience in ColdFusion MX7/PHP web development
* Experience in Web Services Methods and tools
* Experience in Crystal Reports
