Job Description:
Position Title: Director of Finance
Salary Range: up to $120k plus bonus plus stock options

Location: Nassau County, Long Island (30-60 minutes east of NYC)
Reporting Lines: Reports to Corporate Controller (at parent company) with dotted line to CFO and CEO at Corporate / parent company; the Director of Finance is the highest ranking Accounting/Finance individual at this subsidiary
Compensation: Base salary up to $120k plus annual cash bonus plus opportunity for stock options
Responsibilities: Provides primary oversight for the accounting, business, financial planning and analysis functions of this wholly-owned subsidiary; Full P & L responsibility, reporting, and analysis of company revenue, COS, operating expense, and headcount; Review/prepare financial statements and other internal financial reporting; Manage budgeting and forecasting models; Establish, monitor and enforce internal controls; Collect, interpret, and report key financial data / status of financial condition; Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and audit requirements and advise management of actions and potential risks; Increase / improve innovation and compliance by keeping abreast of information and IT affecting company/industry; Diverse responsibilities given the relatively small size / accounting staff of the company; little if any travel
Requirements: BS in Accounting or Finance; 8-10 years of relevant experience; Prior experience in software industry GAAP application (SOP 97-2, SOP 98-1, FASB No. 86); Strong understanding of US GAAP; Refined and polished communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; Proven ability to work well with internal and external executive-management level individuals; Solid PC and software ability and skills; MS Office
A Plus / Preferred: CPA; Mix of experience in public accounting (mid-sized regional firm or larger) and private industry; Oracle applications experience
