ActionLink is a nationally known, full-service, merchandising company providing merchandising, reset and installation services to major electronics and home office store chains throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. ActionLink has aspired to develop a solid reputation in the industry for professionalism and excellent service.Due to increased growth, we are seeking qualified, full time, District Supervisors in Major Market areas throughout the US.
The successful candidate will:
• Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, motivation and training to part-time merchandisers within assigned area.
• Assist in managing, monitoring, and measuring work of employees.
• Travel throughout assigned area to inspect merchandisers work for compliance as well as provide mentoring to insure success.
• Assist in developing and implementing short and long-term goals, objectives, and tactical execution plans according to area needs.
• Understand and fulfill customer needs through problem solving and communication.
• Implement all company policies and procedures related to business development in an effort to maximize profitability.
• Ensure that operational processes and procedures are executed according to company standards and compliance measures.
• Assist in setting up new stores, as well as test projects to determine potential problems prior to roll out.
• Perform tasks of Merchandisers when necessary within a 100 mile radius of home.
The District Supervisors work closely with Regional Manager to assess problem areas and determine solutions in a timely manner.
District Supervisors will work 5 days circulating throughout their area visiting reps and conducting store audits, with balance of time spent conducting administrative tasks or assigned duties from Regional Manager. Although, minimal, some overnight stays may be required.
Approximate hours are 9:00 am-6:00 pm with a minimum of 45-50 hours required.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the industry, retail experience, management experience, and logistics and leadership skills.
• Reliable transportation with insurance.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to hire and train others.
• Ability to work effectively with team members and project managers.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal and computer skills including internet and Microsoft Office.
• Home office space with Internet connectivity and 24 hr. 7 day week computer access as well as cell phone
• Ability to organize people and activities; understanding how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow.
ActionLink offers a competitive salary in the range in the mid to upper 20’s as well as benefits package including medical, dental, and paid, personal, holiday and vacation time, and a 401(k) plan. All mileage is compensated at .22 per mile.
